Randy READMEs

Some commits. A crayon. Absolutely normal Git behavior.

Randy draws contribution squares by hand, waits for the rain to wash them away, then starts again. A GitHub profile can have a little more personality than a row of badges.

Three self-contained SVG scenes bring the joke to life: Tegridy Commits, Push Access, and the Skills Board. The artwork and animation travel inside the SVG, so the embeds need no JavaScript.

Tegridy, naturally

The calendar scene is a 19-second loop. Push Access adds an airborne git push mishap; the skills scene flings technologies onto a wooden board.

Real contributions underneath

A Python generator reads the public contribution calendar. GitHub Actions refreshes the files; downloaded copies keep their saved version.

Made to be embedded

Light and dark variants follow the GitHub theme. Reduced motion shows the completed calendar or board. Artwork credits stay with the repository.
