Chromium Maiden

A calmer feed. A second thought before send.

A small maid in your browser, watching both sides of the conversation. Chromium Maiden can shield incoming harmful content and offer a pause before an outgoing draft makes someone’s day worse.

The extension checks nearby posts and messages, explains interventions, and offers calmer wording. Reveal, keep-editing, and override controls leave the final decision with the person using it.

Your boundaries, your rules

Choose which topics to block, check in context, or allow. Mark missed harmful text to help the local example memory recognize similar content.

Keep it close to home

A conservative extension fallback works on its own. The optional FastAPI and Ollama backend adds contextual analysis and rewrites without a hosted moderation provider.

A prototype with an override

It targets Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, and X. Context can be misread and site markup changes, so corrections and manual controls are part of the design.
